1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Veritik website, application, and related early-access services. It covers information provided by account holders as well as candidate information uploaded by authorized users.
2. Information We Process
Account and authentication information
- Name, email address, account role, and workspace membership.
- Password hashes and application-session records.
- Google account identifiers and verified email information when Google SSO is used. Veritik does not receive your Google password.
Recruitment and candidate information
- Job titles, Job Descriptions, and generated evaluation rubrics.
- Uploaded resumes and information contained in them, which may include names, contact details, employment history, education, skills, and other information chosen by the candidate.
- Parsed resume text, AI scores, summaries, recommendations, comparisons, and interview questions.
- Recruitment Status, status history, activity records, and recruiter notes.
Technical and usage information
We may process request metadata, timestamps, usage counters, error information, and security logs needed to operate, protect, troubleshoot, and improve the service. We do not intentionally use application logs as a place to store complete resumes or secrets.
3. How We Use Information
- Authenticate users and maintain secure sessions.
- Provide workspace-scoped recruitment functionality.
- Parse resumes and generate AI-assisted recruitment insights.
- Enforce plan limits and protect the service from misuse.
- Diagnose failures, maintain security, and support users.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
4. Organization and Recruiter Responsibilities
The organization or recruiter uploading candidate information is responsible for having an appropriate legal basis, permission, or other authority to collect and process that information. Users must provide any required notices to candidates and must not upload unnecessary or unlawfully obtained data.
5. Service Providers
Veritik relies on service providers to operate the platform. Depending on the feature used, information may be processed by infrastructure, database, authentication, hosting, and AI providers such as Supabase, Vercel, OpenAI, and Google. These providers process information under their own contractual and privacy terms and only for purposes connected to delivering their services to Veritik.
We do not sell candidate or account information. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, during a legitimate business transfer, or with the relevant user's direction or consent.
6. Workspace Access and Security
Veritik uses account authentication, HTTP-only application sessions, workspace authorization, server-side access controls, and PostgreSQL Row Level Security where configured. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for protecting their accounts, limiting workspace access, and reporting suspected compromise promptly.
7. Retention and Deletion
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security and records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention may also depend on the instructions and policies of the organization that uploaded candidate data.
Account holders and candidates may request access, correction, or deletion where applicable by contacting us. We may need to verify the request and, for candidate data controlled by a customer organization, coordinate the request with that organization.
8. International Processing
Service providers may process or store information in countries other than the user's or candidate's country. Users are responsible for determining whether their use of Veritik satisfies applicable transfer and localization requirements.
9. Children's Information
Veritik is intended for professional recruitment use and is not directed to children. Users must not knowingly upload children's information unless they have a lawful, role-specific reason and all required permissions.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as Veritik evolves. The effective date will be updated when material changes are published. Continued use after an update is subject to the revised policy where permitted by law.
